not lazy...

...just "stuck"...

I really didn't realize it had been so long since I posted! What?!?

So here I am. :)

I wanted to post a Scrappinista LO I did using Cosmo Cricket 1934 line!
AND a Cosmo Cricket Glubber (Glue-ber?) :)
If you like to make flowers out of ribbon 9 I used Maya Road ruffled satin here) and fabric, this is the glue dot for you!
You get a ton in the package, and they work like a DREAM!
The only problem is finding them!
We got them in the store, and they have been sold out since! EEK!

The black ring is me stamping with a toilet paper roll. Yep. All class around here!

I also added Epiphany Crafts embellishies!

And I'll just put this one out there, even though it seems unfinished to me... it needs journaling somewhere or something. But it IS a 2 page layout! You don't get those out of me much!
I promise I won't be such a stranger!

The Story Matters March-and more.

How did it get to be March?
Well it is. And so that means it is The Story Matters Kit time!

And this is the LAST kit that we do quite this way...
there is chance on the horizon. Good change!
Still in the works. So stay tuned.

In the meantime. Here are the first of my layouts:
And my sweet friend Anne and I went to an antique show today, and she insisted on getting this for us!
Hamilton Beech HEAVY duty shake blender! Like commercial quality! And THREE stainless mixing cups too! AWEsome!
Add ice cream, milk and chocolate syrup, and you get this:

Thank you Anne!

Speaking of "how did it get to be March". March is like Christmas around here! THREE birthdays in this house alone! EEK!

We all got to spend a fun night with Grandpa Don and Grandma Dinah at Happy Joe's! Playing games and eating pizza!I have the title of this one already "Lord of the Rings". :)
(Yes, we told him that the one ring was a girls style ring. You can see how much he cared.) They both got a "moon" ring. (We'd say "mood" and they just stared at us like. "Yeah.")Thank you Grandpa Don and Grandma Dinah!

OH!! AND I have been asked to join this fabulous Design Team!!!

8 is SO big!

8 years old today!7 seemed "little" still.
8 seems so BIG.
He's my baby though... always will be.
EIGHT whole years ago, I was in the birth center, in a tub, delivering joy!
Eight years ago I gave birth to baby boy number 2.
Eight years ago, I got to be a mother toTWO boys.
Eight years ago, I was proud of myself! (You WERE a 10#3oz. waterbirth after all!)
Eight years ago I gave birth to a brother, a friend, and the child that is most like me.
Eight years ago I was reminded of God's grace.... and every day since.

Gabriel Lee, I love you so much! I always will.
I marvel at the big boy you are becoming, and I get glimpses of the man you will be.

I thank God for you each day!

(AHHH, couldn't find the 1st year cake pictures!)

(Just didn't make it to cake this year! LOL! But HAD to get the cake picture!! Snort!)

Happy Birthday Buddy!

How to keep up!! GEEZ!

I noticed that not only am I not posting anything about my kids, but I am not really posting about anything!
I even had Mad Monday layouts to show you!

Better late than never!

BUT FIRST!
I HAD to shout from the rooftops, that my friend Megan Klauer made the Sassafras design team!
Since I would have been mad if she HADN'T (she loves them so.. I just KNOW she is their biggest fan and SO deserves the spot) it's a good thing! LOL!
Congrats Megan!
I am also thrilled it was a The Story Matters LO that they posted in the announcement!
NEXT (not as exciting, but still) I am featured again in the monthly "maps" on Page Maps!!
Thanks Becky! It is always a pleasure!
I was thrilled to be asked again, after having just been present in January!
I don't usually use a sketch so literally, but I did this time. That in itself is a challenge for me.
THEN, go on over to The Story Matters and do a little survey to help us figure out how we can serve you better at The Story Matters!

And FINALLY, my "MAD" (make a dent) Monday layouts-on Tuesday!

I'll be honest, these were a product of Saturday's crop... (I love no rules! LOL!) But I "Made a Dent"! (At least I could have POSTED them on Monday, right?)

This one was just fun... and this poloroid I was afraid would get lost if I didn't put it somewhere better than the fridge! LOVE the cloud stamps from the Studio Calico kit!
I made rain with the rhinestones. :)
And yes... that is me. I miss the days of horses (before kids) and horse shows, and the small of a sweaty horse. I do. :)
I bought this paper JUST to scrap this exact picture I had in my stash!
Simple, I know.
Thanks for stopping by!! :)
I'll try not to be a stranger!
